8.2.4.2 Uncertainty maps

A confidence interval map can be built to represent the width of the interval which includes a given value with some defined level of confidence. Such map allows setting the areas presenting a remarked change in the values: in the vicinity of hot spots, or in transition areas between low and high contamination levels.
